National Public Lands Day
September 24, 2011

Similar to Earth Day, the Friends of Laurel Hill State Park take part in National Public Lands Day by tackling many tasks at the parks, including tree planting, painting, maintenance of historic structures, trail work, and much more.

For more information on projects that need your help, call Christina Albright, Volunteer Coordinator, at 814-352-8649.

National Public Lands Day is a nationwide volunteer effort to make a difference in the lands we all share in common.  2011 will be the eighteenth year for NPLD.  For more information, please visit the official National Public Lands Day website.

As in years past, we will tackle a variety of tasks this year.  Whatever your special talent, we have a job for you.

Not a volunteer yet?  Please join us!
